Ashlee Simpson’s character is being cut from Melrose Place.  Producers on the show say that once her mystery story line had ended that they wanted to move the show in a different direction so she along with another cast member were cut. Today several bands including REM and Pearl Jam made inquires to see if their music was used as a torture device on gitmo detainees. Reports are that everyone from AC/DC to Britney Spears to Sesame Street had their music blared at the captives in hopes of driving them crazy and making them talk. Reports are surfacing today that Lindsay Lohan turned down a major roll in the movie hit movie The Hangover. Sources close to US Magazine have reported that  Lindsay decided to turn the movie down because she felt the script “had no potential.” Of course the Todd Philips directed movie has gone on to gross over 200 million dollars at the box office so it looks like she might have been a little off on that assessment. Heather Graham ended up with the role Lindsay turned down

Sexy screen siren Keira Knightley is so sick of people telling her she is too thin that she has said she should get pregnant just to shut people up. She said, “That’s a good reason to have a kid. They won’t say I’m anorexic any more. Shit, I’ve got to have a child.” If she needs, I am available to help her achieve that goal.

After the brilliant opening skit from this last weeks SNL showing Amy Poehler and Tina Fey playing Hilary Clinton and Sarah Palin comes the news that after the presidential election Amy Poeler, like Fey before her, will be leaving SNL. She is going to be giving birth to her first child then after her maternity leave she is set to star in a show that is a spin-off of The Office. She will be missed, she is great on that show.

Megan Fox  is officially the hottest, coolest girl on the planet. In a recent interview with GQ she admits that she had a short lived lesbian relationship with a Russian stripper (although supposedly they never had sex) and that she thinks groping her fiancee’s junk in public is just fine. She says,” “if you have a girlfriend, you grab her butt or whatever” so she just “cups it a little.” She also admits she has the libido of a 15 years old boy.  She also spent a full day at Comic Con and thought the people there were not nerds, just passionate. So let me get this right, she is into girls, she liked feeling her guy up in public, wants sex all the time and thinks guy that play video games and read comics are cool. She is perfect. Heidi Montag apparently can’t do anything without a camera on her. It makes me wonder if she can even function if it isn’t filmed. Here she is celebrating her birthday with her douche/boyfriend Spencer. I love it when rail thin chicks act like they actually eat when they are out in public. She probably threw it all up once the cameras were off.

Miley Cyrus has been seen out with a new guy recently. His name is Justin Gaston and he is a former underwear model and contestant on the show Nashville Star. We all know Miley likes to take pics of herself in her underwear and her new guy is an underwear model…looks like it might be a good match.

Gossip girl star and all around hottie Leighton Meester was born in prison according to a new story from Star Magazine. Her mom stayed in a halfway house after the birth then once Leighton was three months old her mother returned to jail to serve out the rest of her sentence for her part in a drug smuggling ring. Leighton was taken care of by relatives. Interesting to say the least.

Prison Break star Wentworth Miller says he likes the idea that their show has jumped the shark and looks forward to it getting even crazier and less plausible. I had always said that I thought it was an interesting idea for a show, but that it couldn’t last too long. They keep stretching it out and making it crazier and crazier and now the stars are even admitting it is a little far fetched. Check out the full interview with him here.
