Rapper/singer Lil Wayne pleaded guilty on Thursday to attempted criminal possession of a gun in New York. The plea was the end of an ordeal that began with a 2007 arrest when a gun was found on his tour bus. He next appears in court on Dec 15th for sentencing where it is expected that he will be sentenced to one year in jail. Full story here at Zap 2 It.

People magazine is reporting that he has been given a 21 million dollar bail. The bail is high because he is considered a high flight risk. If he pays the bail he can be released and serve house arrest until the trial. |

 Laguna Beach police recommended that Bon Jovi guitarist Richie Sambora be charged with child endangerment stemming from his March 25th arrest for drunk driving. He had his 10 year old daughter Ava in the car with him at the time he was pulled over. Police have suggested he be charged with misdemeanor child endangerment and DUI. Anne Hathaway has dumped her boyfriend Raffaello Follieri none too soon as he appeared today in a New York court room to face a dozen counts of wire fraud conspiracy and money laundering. Officials also say Follieri tested positive for opiates in a urine test Tuesday morning. This is not the first time he has had trouble with the law. He has bounced a check for 250K and was sued by a company for 55 million when they said he spent their money on himself and Anne and not on business items.
