Heidi Montag apparently can’t do anything without a camera on her. It makes me wonder if she can even function if it isn’t filmed. Here she is celebrating her birthday with her douche/boyfriend Spencer. I love it when rail thin chicks act like they actually eat when they are out in public. She probably threw it all up once the cameras were off.
Miley Cyrus has been seen out with a new guy recently. His name is Justin Gaston and he is a former underwear model and contestant on the show Nashville Star. We all know Miley likes to take pics of herself in her underwear and her new guy is an underwear model…looks like it might be a good match.
Gossip girl star and all around hottie Leighton Meester was born in prison according to a new story from Star Magazine. Her mom stayed in a halfway house after the birth then once Leighton was three months old her mother returned to jail to serve out the rest of her sentence for her part in a drug smuggling ring. Leighton was taken care of by relatives. Interesting to say the least.
Movie trailer voiceover man Don LaFontaine who coined the catchphrase, “In a world…” died yesterday and Cedars-Sinai Medical Center from complications during treatment for an ongoing illness. He was 68 years old and in his 33 year career voiced around 5,000 movie trailers.
Prison Break star Wentworth Miller says he likes the idea that their show has jumped the shark and looks forward to it getting even crazier and less plausible. I had always said that I thought it was an interesting idea for a show, but that it couldn’t last too long. They keep stretching it out and making it crazier and crazier and now the stars are even admitting it is a little far fetched. Check out the full interview with him here.  Koby Clemens, the son of now disgraced major league pitcher Roger Clemens, and two of his minor league baseball teammates were arrested in Salem Virginia for disorderly conduct. Clemens and his teammates were arrested at 2am in the parking lot of popular resturant. Clemens and one of his teammates, Mark Ori, were charged with disorderly conduct while the other teammate, Jimmy Goethals was charged with assault and battery. All three were taken to jail and released on bond. It sounds like this is all a nice way of saying they got into a bar fight. There is no word as to what started the problems. |

 The biggest superhero fight this year might not be on the screen. Warner Bros. is set to release its big budget superhero movie Watchmen soon. Now that they movie is done and ready for theatres Fox has filed a lawsuit claiming that Warner Bros. doesn’t have the rights to movie. Warner fired back saying that Fox knew they were making the movie and that they stood by and waited until they had shelled out over 100 million to make the movie before ever saying a word. The bottom line is really about whether producer Lawrence Gordon had been given the rights to the movie from Fox and was free to shop it elsewhere as Warner claims or if Fox still held the rights and really didn’t know Gordon was shopping it around as Fox Claims. I’m sure they will come to some kind of agreement. There is way too much money in superhero movies these days to shelve it for too long. |

 Actor David Duchovny checked himself into rehab seeking treatment for sexual addiction. He has said that he never cheated on his wife Tea Leoni, but that his addiction has to do with pornography. Rumor has it that he has had this problem for a while and it has gotten worse so he decided it was time to get treatment. I wonder if his role on Kalifornication had anything to do with it. In that show he plays a guy who can’t get enough sex. Did David suddenly see himself in that role and decide he didn’t like what he saw? More on this as we find out. |

 In what may be one of the strangest turns of a story in a while it was announced today that Republican Vice Presidential candidate Sarah Palin’s 17 year old daughter Bristol is pregnant. The last few days the Internet has run rampant with rumors that Palin is actually the grandmother of her youngest child, Trig, and that the child actually belonged to her daughter. It was claimed Palin faked a pregnancy and told everyone it was her child to hide the family shame of her underage daughter being knocked up. Well, today we learn that her daughter really is knocked up. They claim she will marry the father and they will raise the baby together. I am assuming then that the other child is indeed Palin’s and there was no fake, but if not, things will be taking yet another strange turn. Reuters has the full story here.
